This VEL-LOC® hook tape with high temperature resistant PS18 acrylic self adhesive backing is perfect for use on replacing worn out backing pads on sanding machines. We supply this per half metre, multiple purchases will be supplied on a continuous strip up to a maximum length of 25 metres.
- Some sanders have holes in the backing for dust extraction, this tape can be cut or punched using standard tools.
- Please ensure that the surface you are replacing has no adhesive residue left behind and is clean and free of any dust etc before application.
- Peel off the release paper once all cutting and shaping has taken place, once applied do not use the unit for 24 hours to allow the glue to cure.
VEL-LOC® is a VELCRO® Brand hook system that is shaped like tiny mushrooms rather than conventional hooks, these mushroom shapes provide an extreme grip to the corresponding loop tape, in this case the sander backing pad and performs well with very low profile loop or velour.
