Heat and solvent activated adhesives provide the strongest long term bond to the tape iteslf and can be made ready by a few different methods of activation.
Weldable tapes are recommended for applications where a more permanent bond is desired. Dry to the touch the adhesive becomes tacky after activation by any of the following methods:
1. Ultrasonic / High Frequency Welding
2. Heat / Ironing
3. Solvents, such as Acetone

Alfatex® Iron-On and Heat Activated
This HF heat activated tape from Alfatex® has no sew strip so the hook and loop runs from edge to edge, it works well on most fabrics when used with a hot iron or heat press.
