20mm wide and 25 metres long, this is an extra thin soft velour LOOP tape in White.
This loop tape differs from the conventional woven tape in both structure and appearance, where woven tapes have a bundle of "loops" that interconnect allowing the hooks from the corresponding tape to engage, velour is a more compact material like felt.
Whilst the velour tapes tend not to work too well with standard woven hook tapes, they work extremely well with the compact hooks on plastic tapes, they engage very well especially on a vertical pull, the hooks dig-in to the velour to provide an exceptional grip.
The pairing of the 805 sew-on or mushroom hooks with this Velour "loop" gives you a connected thickness at least 50% less of that when compared to their woven counterpart.
This Velour loop is on a woven backing that provides strength and support for sewing, this eliminates tear-through along the edges and allows the stitch to pull down tight the base layer leaving the velour free to offer maximum engagement to the hook side. The tape can be hand or machine sewn and suitable for normal machine or hand laundry.
