A non-adhesive sew-on tape that offers exceptional value for money with a medium cycle life, the Basics range from Velcro Companies has been developed to meet a market where not only cost is a factor but also where the fastener doesn't need the cycle life the premium range offers.
The Basic Range sew-on has a heavier base material when compared with the premium line, this makes it a slightly heavier tape better suited to ultrasonic welding as well as stitching, slitting, straight and die-cutting. The Basic range can be fastened and unfastened between 500 and 700 times; the heavier tape provides a very strong closure as the hooks are more rigid when compared to softer versions.
Both the Basic and Premium range in sew-on or self-adhesive can be used with each other, so you can use a premium loop with a basic hook etc. The tape can be hand or machine sewn and suitable for normal machine or hand laundry. Applications include but are not limited to:
