A special sew-on hook tape that is not only flame retardant but also anti-static, perfect for any application in the aviation and automotive industry and also within the protective clothing electronics industry. Antistatic hook and loop tape is made up of two carbon threads that are woven together. Because of this, it is able to discharge electrostatic charges in both vertical and horizontal directions. The antistatic hook and loop fasteners have been patented by Alfatex part of Velcro companies, and is supplied with flame retardant properties as standard. Advantages of flame retardant tapes include:
